ediONLINE 2.6: Healthcare: Medicaid, Medicare and S-CHIP

Through the use of PowerPoint, lecture and written materials, participants will gain additional information that will assist any SSI beneficiary who wishes to return to work at any level of activity. Proper planning and information is critical to this effort and participants will gain the knowledge necessary to help ease this transition. Leading in a Disability Inclusive Workplace: The JIT Initiative

Workforce Policy & Labor Relations has partnered with the Employment and Disability Institute at Cornell to create a new program for Cornell managers: Leading in a Disability Inclusive Workforce. This program features foundational training for individuals who are committed to addressing disability issues in the workplace, as well as a Just-in-Time Toolkit to meet the needs of managers who need immediate information about addressing disability issues in their departments or units. http://disabilitytoolkit.edi.cornell.edu

NDEAM Webinar Series: "Increased Options, Stronger Support: How States Can Assist Businesses in Employing People with Disabilities"

This webinar will provide an overview of the 2012-13 National Governors Association (NGA)Chair's initiative, "A Better Bottom Line: Employing People with Disabilities." The initiative is focused on how states can assist business in hiring and retaining individuals with disabilities. Topics will include the role of the National Governors Association Chairperson, an outline of the vision of Delaware Governor Markell's current initiative, efforts NGA has undertaken so far, and events planned for the future.
