You take pride in being a good employee and strive to contribute to your company in a meaningful way. However, at times you feel like your professional growth has been challenged, perhaps by the false assumptions and the stigmatizing beliefs you have encountered. You have career goals you have not yet reached and would benefit from a chance to reflect on your strengths and think through the skills you need to hone in order to take that next step in your career. Further, you need strategies you can use to put this information into action.

Cornell University's Professional Development Experience for Employees with Disabilities was created with you in mind. This 2.5 day program is designed to supplement the general leadership/career enhancement training you have attended through your current place of employment. This program will help build on those prior experiences and specifically explore the ways in which disability may both positively and adversely impact opportunities for professional growth. The primary goal of this program is to provide experiences and strategies to empower professionals with disabilities to maximize their potential, increase their engagement, and expand their contribution in the workplace.
