Erin Sember-Chase joined the Employment and Disability Institute in 2008 and serves as the Northeast ADA Center’s (NEADA) Project Coordinator and as the Technical Assistance Coordinator for the Employment & Disability Institute. She is responsible for coordinating the team of Technical Assistance Specialists who provide information and answer questions related to the ADA and various disability and employment issues. She also oversees publication of the monthly NEADA Center News Bulletin, coordinates management of NEADA Center’s Web site, and assists with training development. Within EDI and ILR, Erin assists with coordinating disability focused global service learning efforts for students and is a co-teacher of ILRLR 1200 Introduction to Disability Studies. Erin holds a Masters degree in Community Clinical Psychology from Mansfield University, PA. She has designed and implemented several presentations and trainings on Disability Culture at the campus, regional, and national levels. She serves as Advisor to the Cornell Union for Disabilities Awareness, and a member of the Ithaca City Disability Advisory Council, the City of Ithaca Workforce Diversity Advisory Committee, and the Cornell University Student Disability Services Advisory Board. She is a former member of the Finger Lakes Independence Center Board of Directors.
